Error initialising libiomp5md.dll
On trying to run an ISIS TUFLOW linked model I am receiving an error saying "Initializing libiomp5md.dll, but found libguide40.lib already initialized". Is this an error with the installation?

Hi

This sounds like an error with the installation. To explain this briefly, libguide40.lib is an older version of the file, which functionality has been now replaced by libiomp5md.dll. However older versions of TUFLOW or ISIS may still refer to the .lib file which may be the reason for the message you are getting.

The suggestions for fixing this error could be:

1. Please try the following: rename or remove libguide40.lib from either ISIS/bin or the folder where your TUFLOW is installed. Also please make sure that the PATH variable points to the correct folder where the version of TUFLOW you would like to use is placed.

2. If the suggestions above do not help, then you should install/re-install ISIS v 3.3 and Tuflow Build 2009-07-AD-iSP (the recent TUFLOW build). Please also make sure that the currect path for your TUFLOW folder is mentioned in the PATH variable of your system.

If you already have a version of ISIS installed on your computer, I would do the following:

- uninstall this version of ISIS first
- delete the isis folder (as the uninstall does not delete this folder and some files still stay there and cause problems afterwards),
- install ISIS v 3.3.

Please make sure you back up the licence files (.set files) if you use ISIS Professional and/or your own data which you may have placed into the isis folder before re-installing ISIS using the instructions given above.

If you already have ISIS v 3.3, I would still re-install ISIS in the manner described above. (Possibly some older versions of the files still stay in your ISIS folder which cause problem mentioned in your post above).

If you have multiple versions of ISIS installed, in order to avoid getting the error message which you mentioned it is really recommended to leave only one version of ISIS which should be ISIS v 3.3.

Please let us know how you get on.

Thanks.
Kostya

Installing ISIS v3.3 appears to have solved the issue. Many thanks for your help on this.
