ISIS users raise money for WaterAid and the Halcrow Foundation
Halcrow's purpose is to sustain and improve the quality of people's lives. You'll see our commitment to this reflected both in the type of work we do and in the way we behave in the communities we work in. The ISIS user community is one of these communities.
The ISIS user community contains a vast repository of information and this helps us to streamline our support to users. In turn, we save money on support provision and we can provide a better to service to our users, resulting in increased sales. We would like to pass back some of the money saved and generated to good causes and we are doing this by donating to two charities, WaterAid and the Halcrow Foundation.
To encourage the use of the ISIS user community website, every user interaction generates a donation to WaterAid and the Halcrow Foundation and at the end of each year, this will be converted into a donation to the above charities. Since this is the first year of the ISIS user community, we are doubling the donation this year.
WaterAid
WaterAid is an international charity. Their mission is to overcome poverty by enabling the world's poorest people to gain access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene education.

These countries are Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Ghana, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mozambique, Nigeria, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia in Africa; Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Pakistan in Asia; and Papua New Guinea and Timor-Leste in the Pacific region.

Halcrow Foundation
The Halcrow Foundation's vision is to bring tangible and sustainable improvements to the lives of people in need by mobilising the goodwill and expertise of Halcrow employees and people associated with the company or the charity.
It aims to alleviate poverty and suffering around the world caused by natural disaster or as a result of people's social and economic conditions. It does this through the development of education, health and other social services, the improvement of transport infrastructure, water supplies and other communal facilities and the promotion of self help activities.
Halcrow donates one per cent of its annual profits to the foundation, as well as making a significant contribution in terms of people's time and its resources. Halcrow's employees also raise funds through a range of activities. The general public are welcome to make a donation to support the foundation's work (see the donate page to learn more).
